Preschool Program
At Zion Childcare, our preschool program is designed to foster a love for learning in a nurturing environment. We focus on developing the whole child through engaging activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. Our dedicated educators use play-based learning techniques to encourage creativity and critical thinking while ensuring that each child feels valued and supported. With a mix of structured lessons and free-play opportunities, we aim to prepare our little ones for a successful transition into kindergarten and beyond, building a strong foundation for their educational journey.
Preschool Development
In preschool, children are encouraged to develop foundational skills in a nurturing environment that fosters curiosity and growth. Expectations include learning basic social skills such as sharing, taking turns, and communicating with peers and teachers. Children will explore early literacy and numeracy concepts through engaging activities and play, which promote critical thinking and problem-solving. Independence is nurtured as they learn to follow routines, make choices, and take care of their personal belongings. Overall, the preschool experience aims to build confidence and a love for learning, setting the stage for future educational success.
