Enrolling is easy! Start by filling out our registration packet, which can be picked up at our childcare office or can be sent to you through e-mail, with basic information about your child. After submission, our administration will review it and contact you to discuss enrollment availability. During this phone call you will also be able to arrange a tour of our center, where you can meet our staff and learn more about our programs. After the tour, if there is a spot available, we will discuss your child’s start date. If the desired class is currently on a waiting list, we will try our best to give you an idea of when your child could start.
Please note-upon acceptance into our program a $50 registration fee is required to be paid in full before your child can start.

We provide a variety of nutritious snacks and lunch options that are not only delicious but also nutritious.
Each day is started with a morning snack at around 8:30 am, and offers a wide variety of options like oatmeal, cereal, muffins, etc.
Our lunches are a good source of daily nutrients for your child and each meal has the required amounts of food groups. We strive to provide a fun, but healthy menu that children will love.
Afternoon snacks are a great way to finish out the day and to help tide your child over until dinner time. We make sure that our afternoon snacks still meet the food group requirements, but with a little more variety and fun!
If your child has an allergy, such as gluten-intolerance or a dietary choice such as vegan/vegetarian you are more than welcome to provide a lunch for your child. A simple medical form will need to be completed, and you will need to ensure that the meal provided meets the same food group requirements as the center meals.

At Zion Childcare, the safety and security of your little ones is our top priority. We are committed to creating a secure environment where children can explore, learn, and grow with confidence. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art security measures, including secure entry points that can only be entered with a individual door code (which will be given to parents on the child’s first day), surveillance systems, and a dedicated staff trained in emergency procedures. We value open communication with parents and maintain a vigilant approach to ensure that your child’s wellbeing is safeguarded at all times.
We also require that all staff be trained in First Aid and CPR within their first year of employment. Any staff members that are not yet First Aid/CPR certified will only supervise children along side a staff member who is fully certified.
Together, we create a nurturing space where you can rest assured that your child is safe, happy, and thriving.

All age groups are separated into their own individual classrooms throughout the day. The only times age groups will ever be combined is at the beginning of the day until about 7:30 am and end of the day, not beginning until 5 pm. Whenever age groups are combined the ratio of the youngest child in the group will be observed.
-
Per our state guidelines, our classrooms ratios are as follows:
Toddlers (18 months and under 2 1/2 years)-1 to 7
Older Toddlers (2 1/2 years and under 3 years)-1 to 8
Preschool (Three years)-1 to 12
Preschool (Four and Five years of age)- 1 to 14
School age (Kindergarten to 11 years of age)-1 to 18
School age (11 years through 14 years)-1 to 20
-
In the case of an allergy, religion, or dietary choice where an entire food group needs to be eliminated or modified, parents will need to fill out a health plan and when necessary provide an alternative lunch and/or snack.

Zion Childcare welcomes unvaccinated children for any reason. We focus on creating a safe and inclusive environment for all families. However, if there is an outbreak of a vaccinated illness like Chicken Pox, unvaccinated children must stay home until the outbreak is over. This helps protect them and prevent the illness from spreading.
